one for me

One more soldered charm pendant and this one is for me. I love the Keep Calm and Carry On Poster and my friend suggested I put a photo of my children on the other side. You know...to remind me who I need to stay calm and carry on for!! In haste I added a crown to my daughter's head with Photoshop and you can barely see it, but it's cute...I think.

  2. I keep this poster in my office at work. I did some research on this one and apparently it was originally created by the British to help calm people during the Nazi invasion. So this is definately appropriate for those days when we need a reminder of all the good things in life.

  3. Traci-
If I sent you a little picture like that of my kids, could you put it in a necklace for me? How much would you charge for a necklace like that with the pearls like in the picture? You can email me at beutfam@gmail.com
    Thanks!!

  7. I LOVE the charm. After all you make, you deserve on for yourself! The saying is so true too. It's usually bits of life regarding the kids that require us to stay calm!

I can't wait to try your cookie recipe. Yummy. I'll have to buy some cake flour next shopping trip.

I looked up the books you read recently. I have the Goose Girl on my bookshelf, waiting to be read, but I just finished the Princess Academy, which I really liked. I finshed The Help today. It's long, but very, very good. You come to truly care about the characters. I'll have to look up the other two on Amazon.com. Are they worth buying?

It's sring break here this week and ever Rich is off. Instead of doing something FUN, Rich will be studying for oral boards while the kids and I box up the basement. Not fun, but needed. One day we'll do something big when we have time off, but sadly this is not the year.

    Missing you!
