I made these the week of Valentines and didn't have the chance to attach them to any gift. Sad, but I will just hang on to them until next year. I got the vintage images from here at Altered Stuff.
super cute! where did you buy those tags? for as big of a city I live in, our michaels pretty much sucks. and the tag that you sent me...how did you get it the brown vintagy watery, don't know how to describe it look?
I buy the manila tags at Office Max. As for the vintage look - I have a spray bottle with 1/2 cup hot water and 2 Tbs. coffe. I spray the tags in the sink and rub it in (I wear rubber gloves) and then set them on a cookie sheet and bake at 200 - flipping them and sometimes have the oven door ajar as I do it. I know this sounds like a process, but I do a lot at a time. Then, I lay an old towel on them and iron them flat. I made tons last year for Christmas and had vintage Christmas stamps. I gave all my friends a bundle of them as their gift.
