It only takes a few inches to get a snow day here in the country. Plus, with the expectation of freezing rodes, you get another one the next day. So, the kids have been home with me the past two days and it has been full of rides down the driveway in the vintage sled I have for our Christmas decorating and hot chocolate. Not too bad. It's the making up of the days at the end of the school year that stinks a bit. But,
nonetheless, it's fun and very very cold.

I remember those days. Here it takes a blizzard and -50 degrees celsius before they even consider closing the schools! Looks like you have been able to enjoy it anyway!
I'm definitely lovin' the snow days! It gives me a good excuse to bunker down and not the leave the house! I don't, however, like the cold. It's been miserable!!! And I'll be glad when temps warm back up. In fact, I'll take Spring right now! HA!
